Fluctuating fuel costs have undoubtedly put a strain on the travel budgets in all areas of the college. When planning travel, please remember to:
* Coordinate travel itineraries when two or more employees are traveling to the same destination. Car pooling will reduce the cost associated with mileage reimbursement or multiple car rentals.
* Secure lodging at the hotel/conference center where the conference is being conducted if an overnight stay is required.
* Consider utilizing telephone and video conferences as these practices are readily available now more than ever.
