Required Upgrade for the Cisco AnyConnect VPN Client 4.9 on 3/30/21
In an effort to keep our systems secure we have tested and released the latest version of our VPN software. This upgrade will be required beginning on Tuesday March 30th to connect to our VPN. On the 30th if you have not upgraded your client, the system will prompt you to install the new version automatically.
If you are using an MCC owned device to work from home we encourage you to upgrade prior to the deadline. You can follow the vpn-update-instructions-for-mcc-equipment.pdf guide to upgrade your device. The update is available and can be done anytime prior to the 30th. Likewise if you are using a personal device to VPN, follow the attached guide vpn-update-instructions-forpersonal-equipment.pdf for the upgrade. Those users who worked wih the Help Desk to manually upgrade to version 4.9 over the past several weeks are all set.
If you need assistance, the Help Desk 292-TECH (M-F 8:45-4:45) can assist you with your upgrade prior to the 30th.
