The Week Ahead

The office of Student Life & Leadership Development presents the following events for next week (please share with students):

Better Breakfast Event

  • Tuesday, September 26th, 11:30 am to 1:00pm, Brighton Campus DWIGHT 3-125
  • Join the Student Life and Leadership Development team, Counseling, Disability and Health Services, and the Cornell Cooperative Extension for a Better Breakfast Event.  September is "better breakfast" month. Eating a healthy breakfast can improve academic performance. Learn how to prepare a simple, healthy morning meal and celebrate this tasty occasion with healthy breakfast samples of fruit pizza and smoothies.

Disability Club Awareness Interest Lunch

  • Monday, September 25th, 12:00 to 1:00pm, Downtown Campus 2nd Floor Room 200C
  • Come join the disability awareness club to learn about what the club is planning this semester and how to get involved, eat some pizza, and meet new people!

Pancakes with the President

  • Wednesday, September 27th, 9:30 am to 10:30 am, Downtown Campus 2nd Floor Lounge
  • President Dr. Burt-Nanna invites students to join her for breakfast with free pancakes. Please join us for this amazing opportunity!

Egg Drop Competition

  • Wednesday, September 27th, 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm, Campus Center Terrace & Atrium
  • Come join the Engineering Leadership Council for an Egg Drop Competition. Students will use scrap materials to build an enclosure that attempts to protect an egg when dropped to the second floor.  It’s lots of fun to watch and/or participate.

Super Smash Bros. Tournament

  • Wednesday, September 27th, 6:00 pm to 9:00pm, Brighton Campus Forum 3-130
  • Join the Smash Club for a Super Smash Bros. Tournament. Registration is $5.00 for a chance to win prize giveaways! Pizza & drinks will be served!

Krispy Kreme Donut Fundraiser Pickup
Students of the American Dental Hygienists Association Krispy Kreme Donut Fundraiser pickup will be happening at the below times. Make sure to grab those delicious donuts you purchased!  

  • Thursday, September 28th, 12:00pm to 4:00 pm, Campus Center Terrace
  • Friday, September 29th, 9:00 am to 12:00 pm, Campus Center Terrace
