Please plan to join colleagues on February 26, 2016 for Spring Symposium at the Damon City Campus. This half-day Friday morning workshop at DCC will apply the Teaching & Creativity Center's 2015-16 theme, “Helping Students Learn How to Learn.” We’ll begin with a light breakfast at 8:30 then at 9 open with a discussion about building community in our classrooms. Following that each participant will join one of three workshops (listed below) to continue with focused discussion as well as to create and/or use materials appropriate for classes. The program will conclude with lunch. Registration information will appear in the Daily Tribune in January.
Workshop titles:
1. Dress Rehearsal: Instilling Better Study Habits
2. Apples and Oranges: Facilitating Effective Teams
3. Jumping the Hurdles: Success Before, During, and After the Test
With appreciation for your support of the TCC’s professional development events by and for faculty,
