The Tutoring and Academic Assistance Center is Hosting a Writing Workshop Today at the Downtown Campus

This spring, the Tutoring and Academic Assistance Center (TAAC) will be hosting an Academic Coaching and Writing Workshop Series at Brighton and Downtown.

We would like to welcome all today, February 13th for Part I of our Writing Anxiety and Procrastination Workshop, "What is Writing Anxiety? Join us at the Downtown Campus in Room 600 or on Zoom. *Attend in-person or online to be entered into our workshop raffle for an Amazon gift card! 

Part I: What is Writing Anxiety? 

Writing in college can be overwhelming and stressful.  This workshop offers solutions for students that are experiencing negative feelings about their writing and are having trouble getting started.  Do you know why you procrastinate?  Writing anxiety can be the culprit behind your procrastination.  Learn how to understand and manage writing anxiety and become more confident in yourself as a writer.

  • February 13th
    12 pm to 1 pm and 5 pm to 6 pm
    Downtown Campus, Room 600 and Zoom (see Zoom information below)
