Swimming & Diving Secure In-Season Championship Title

Congratulations to Monroe Men’s and Women’s Swimming and Diving Team for Securing the 2022-2023 Dan Dubois Championship Award Last night in a quad meet against Region III/ WYNAC Opponents. The season championship is an award that has been named after long-time Head Coach Dan Dubois. The winner is determined by the final record Western New York Athletic Conference. The Men completed an undefeated season against Region III opponents in the WYNAC series. The Women were tied with Jamestown Community College going into last night’s competition and overtook the Jayhawks with a winning score of 101 to 79. This is the first time the Women won the Dan Dubois award and the second straight for the Men.

The Monroe Tribunes have three meets left before they enter postseason play as the college will host the 2023 Regional Championships February 10th-12th. Please come next Wednesday (25th) and cheer on your Monroe Tribunes as we celebrate Sophomore Night against Division II rival Robert Wesleyan University at 5:30 PM at the MCC Pool.
