Access from Home - Actions Before Leaving Campus

The instructions for how to access MCC systems from home have been updated. On the Technology Help tab in myMCC, in the Technology Links channel, there are two links leading to the instructions: Access from Home and Off Campus Access.

Access instructions include:

MCC email via mobile device and webmail

M Drive (and its sub-drives U and S) via Acronis

MCC voicemail for your office phone

VPN and remote desktop access

If you require remote desktop access into your on-campus MCC desktop computer,

  • You MUST leave your desktop computer ON
  • You also will need the desktop computer's decal number, so be sure to record that before leaving campus
  • To ensure your desktop computer has the proper permissions to use Remote Desktop Connection software, remember to reboot (restart) it before leaving campus

To ensure any Technology Support questions or problems are handled as efficiently as possible while staff are working from home, please submit a ticket through the link on the Technology Help tab of myMCC (Create or View Technology Support Requests). Please remember to include your personal phone number in the ticket so that the support staff can contact you directly if necessary.
