Instructions for Entering Grades in myMCC

Your final grades will be due in Banner by Sunday, December 31, by noon.

To alleviate any confusion: Brightspace versus Banner.

  • Unfortunately, grades do not feed from Brightspace to Banner.
  • It’s encouraged that faculty spend some time checking the accuracy of grades in Brightspace before entering them in Banner.

Where to enter grades in Banner:

  • Go to myMCC (mymcc.monroecc.edu) and select the Employee profile.
  • Select the Banner tile.
  • Select the Faculty Services tile.
  • Select Grade Entry in the Rosters section.
  • Select the course for which you wish to submit grades.
  • Be sure to click Submit after you enter the grades.

Question: What are the common errors made when entering grades?

Answer:

  1. Omitting the last date of attendance for grades of F.
  2. W grades can only be submitted by students or through the Registration and Records office as requested by students.
  3. Forgetting to save your work at the bottom right of the screen.

It’s worth the extra time, after submitting your work, to exit and go back in to check that the grades were saved. If the grades aren’t submitted due to an error or not saving, you will appear on an error report. You will then be asked to try again by Registration and Records, and the process will need to be repeated, which can be time-consuming and frustrating.

Go to Employee Home > Online Forms > Registration and Records > Incomplete Contract to begin the process
