Dale Pearce Successfully Defends Dissertation

Please join me in congratulating Dale Pearce, who successfully defended his dissertation, A Qualitative Study: Leadership Styles Associated With Registered Apprenticeship Programs That Address Middle-Skills Gap in the Finger Lakes Region, earning his EdD in Educational Leadership from the American College of Education. 

Dr. Pearce served MCC as the Program Director of Apprenticeships and Curriculum in EDWIS/CTE from 2012-2021 before accepting his current role as Assistant Athletic Director and Head Swimming and Diving Coach. Dr. Pearce has been named NJCAA Region III Swimming and Diving Coach of the Year for the past two years while spearheading innovative leadership programming for our nearly 200 student-athletes. 

Dr. Pearce also holds the following degrees:

  • EdS- American College of Education 2020
  • MSed- SUNY Brockport 2016
  • MSed- SUNY Buffalo 2012
  • BS- Brockport 2009
  • AS- Genesee Community College 2005
