An Open Education Worldwide Celebration!
March 4th-8th, is the 12th annual observance of Open Education Week. What is OE Week? The global open community holds a week of events, workshops, and presentations which create awareness and excitement around the open movement. The mission of the event is to "raise awareness and highlight innovative open education successes worldwide".
There are numerous virtual presentations and events to take part in. A few that may be of interest include:
- SUNY CPD has several presentations scheduled, including "Social Annotating with Texts in the Public Domain" by Rachel Rigolino at SUNY New Paltz.
- What is H5P? How to collaborate and create OER using H5P in LibreTexts Studio presented by LibreTexts.
- OpenOregon is hosting Jeff Gallant, Program Director of Affordable Learning Georgia, for OER 101: An Introduction to Open Educational Resources
