Monroe Community College was honored for its long-term commitment to conservation at the Rochester Business Journal Environmental Leadership Awards luncheon on April 13. The award presentation was part of an environmental leadership symposium at the Rochester Riverside Convention Center.
MCC was honored for its two LEED-certified buildings (the Wolk and PAC centers), its energy conservation plan, energy management and control system, preventative maintenance program, and co-generation plant.
Other winners in the long-term commitment to conservation category included Bausch & Lomb, Inc. and Zotos International, Inc.
