Charlie Clarke (Psychology) presented “A Secular Midrash via Buddhism and Ecospirituality” during the 40th annual Scholars’ Conference on the Holocaust and The Churches on March 7 in Philadelphia, PA. His presentation was part of a theology-based session with other educators from across the country.
The annual conference is hosted by St. Joseph’s University in Philadelphia. (https://www.sju.edu/academics/cas/resources/holocaust/) The theme for this year’s conference was “Crisis & Credibility in the Jewish Christian World: Remembering Franklin H. Littell.”
Clarke serves as the director of MCC’s Holocaust, Genocide, and Human Rights Project, which recently marked its 20th anniversary.
