April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month

April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month. MCC honors victims, survivors, and allies by providing a variety of programming. Please consider joining us.

  • April 15: Hold Me Right Documentary Showing and Panel (Brighton Campus)
    A filmmaker tries to cope with the aftermath of her own sexual assault while filming first-hand testimonies ––ranging from a nurse that performed her own rape kit to a pedophile molested as a child. Hold Me Right follows both survivors and perpetrators through the harrowing journey of speaking up, healing, and moving forward. For the panel, we will be joined by Maddi Howard from RESTORE and E Bjorkman from the New York State Coaltion Against Sexual Assault. 
    6pm to 8pm in Room 5-100 (reservation required)
     
  • April 17: The Bachelor Lunch: Red and Green Flags
    Using the popular show, The Bachelor, join us for lunch discussion on red and green relationship flags.
    12pm to 1pm in Room 3-115 (reservation required)
