MCC's League Reaffirmation

I am pleased to announce the unanimous vote of the Board of the League for Innovation in the Community Colleges to reaffirm Monroe Community College. The League also reaffirmed the President of MCC to retain her seat on the Board of Directors--one of only 18 out of the almost 345 institutions that are members of the League Alliance.

I want to thank all who, over the past year, diligently worked on our successful reaffirmation efforts which demonstrates MCC’s continued commitment to excellence and innovation, not only to the League but to the nation. As I shared with the League during its virtual site visit on October 3, “MCC’s strength is its people.” We all bear witness to this every day at all levels of our organization. You work together to transform lives and shape the future of our College for the community. This is innovation.
