Due to time constraints, the second of the ETS Brown Bag Lunch Sessions scheduled in
October has been rescheduled.
LET'S TALK: MANAGING COMPUTERS AND TOTAL COST OF OWNERSHIP EFFECTIVELY
originally scheduled for Wednesday, Oct. 23 has been rescheduled for
Monday, Dec. 9.
Managing personal computer total cost of ownership across the enterprise is a
challenging task facing all colleges. To do so effectively, a whole spectrum of
factors such as procurement, standards, infrastructure, deployment, support,
and reporting must be integrated into a college wide computer management plan.
The presenters facilitate an interactive session to gather the challenges and
solutions being used by the audience members and share Monroe Community
College's solution. Facilitated by Terry Keys, Dale Mallory and Brett Thompson,
ETS. Please join us on Monday, Dec. 9 during College Hour (12-1pm) in
Room 11-109.
Just a reminder: The Brown Bag Lunch Session LET'S TALK: CONSTRUCTION scheduled
for Monday, Oct. 28 will still take place as scheduled.
Monroe Community College worked with a team consisting of architects,
mechanical engineers, audiovisual consultants, and in-house departments to
define and refine technology for a new campus center and residence halls.
Topics covered during this session include mission critical redundancy, high
tech/low maintenance conference spaces, multimedia information systems, network
considerations, and zoned distribution of AV signals. From concept and design
through bidding and installation, have your technology team actively involved
with the entire process starting with this discussion. Facilitated by Dale
Mallory, Brett Thompson and Terry Keys, ETS. Please join us on Monday, October
28th during College Hour (12-1pm) in Room 11-109.
