The 5 Days of Gradebook: Day 2

Delete and Categorize! 

Welcome to Day 2 of the 5 days of Brightspace gradebook! This week we will run a series of simple tasks that you can do to check your gradebook to make sure it is functioning properly.   

The second tip is to delete unused grade items and move items into categories using the bulk edit tool.  

  1. You can find this from the Grade Center on the navbar 
  2. Then click on the Grades tab. 
  3. Go to the Manage Grades tab.  
  4. From here, you can use your More Actions button and select Delete. Go through and place a checkmark in each box for the items you want to remove. Delete unused items/categories carefully. This can be done in stages.  
  5. The bulk edit tool can help you quickly recategorize assignments.
