A current initiative of MCC Corporate College is a comprehensive Set-Up Technician Training Program onsite at the Thermo Fisher Scientific, Inc. plant locations in Fairport and Penfield. This 2-year program with Thermo Fisher Scientific was the topic of a recent article in the Rochester Business Journal titled “Training program heats up for college, area firms.” The article does a great job of articulating the value that MCC Corporate College brings to Thermo Fisher Scientific and other area organizations. MCC Corporate College has partnered with more than 125 companies in the last year to provide training programs and employee development in variety of different subject areas.
Congratulations to Elaine Lyons, Manager, Corporate Relations, and Jim Gertner, Manager, Product Development. Their hard work and dedication to the mission of MCC Corporate College made possible the partnership with Thermo Fisher Scientific, as well as other local organizations.
The article is attached, I hope you will take a moment to read about the great work happening at MCC Corporate College.
