Craft Club
Please join us for the last Craft Club class of this academic year. Learn how to make a layered spring shadow box on Thursday, June 1 from 5:15pm to 7 pm in room 9-112. Diane Wilson, from the Mathematics Department, will guide participants on how to create a paper shadow box and assemble multiple layers that fit within that shadow box, creating a 3D spring scene. Kits will include precut pieces and embellishments. Please bring liquid glue, (Scotch, Elmer’s or Aleene’s tacky glue works best). The cost of the class is $5. Cash payments only will be collected at the event. Light refreshments will be provided.
Space is limited. Please RSVP no later than Friday, May 19 to Diane Wilson (dwilson19@monroecc.edu) with Shadow Box as the email subject.
Craft Club classes will resume in September. If you are interested in leading/teaching a class, please contact either Diane or Pam Rende (prende@monroecc.edu). We welcome and encourage faculty and staff to participate in this community-building program.
