John Perrone, Director of the Homeland Security Management Institute (HSMI) at MCC, was recently appointed by County Executive Maggie Brooks to a three year term on the Monroe County Veterans Advisory Board. In a letter to the Director, Brooks indicated the newly-formed Advisory Committee will be critical to her and the administration as they work to address issues important to local veterans. According to Brooks, the efforts of this committee will be invaluable and provide a vital link between government and the citizens we serve.
