MCC is offering a state-required course that will allow dental hygienists to administer anesthesia.
Administration and Monitoring of Local Infiltration Anesthesia and Nitrous Oxide Analgesia in the Practice of Dental Hygiene is a 45-hour course that satisfies state educational requirements for certification in the administration and monitoring of local infiltration anesthesia and nitrous oxide analgesia for dental hygienists. Three sections will run beginning Sept. 22, Nov. 3 and Jan. 5.
