Thank you all for coming out to the Enough is Enough kick-off events yesterday!  Today we have even more fun planned!  Check it out…

Tuesday, April 8th:

8:00 am - 5:00 pm:  Brick Wall of Violence, Brick Lounge/Gilman Lounge - Take a moment to tell your story of how you or someone you know has been effected by violence.

8:00 am - 5:00 pm:  Posters for PEACE (North Atrium) – Students from AAD 260 create pieces of art proclaiming peace.

8:00 am - 5:00 pm:  Shoes of the Victims/13 Stories of Domestic Violence (Terrace) – Take time to reflect as you interact with this display of shoes with corresponding stories of women who have been murdered on college campuses around the county.

12:00 – 1:00 pm:  These Hands Don’t Hurt Pledge (Main Dining, Brick Lounge, North Atrium, Building 10) – Come take the Pledge that you will not participate in violence.

12:00 – 1:00 pm:  Self Defense with Chris Otero (Main Dining) – Learn how violence can be stopped and how you can protect yourself in an interactive way.

1:00 – 2:00 pm:  Consent in Relationships (Warshof Conference Center, R. Thomas Flynn Campus Center, Empire Room) – What is consent and how is it miscommunicated and misinterpreted?

3:00 – 4:00 pm:  Self Defense Tactics in the Classroom with Rachel Santiago (9-132)

2:00 – 3:00 pm:  What the Heck is Title IX? – An interactive program about rape and sexual assault on college campuses.

3:00 – 5:00 pm:  Get Active, Not Physical (Gym) – Men can empower each other.  Do you like to relieve stress by playing sports? Come strut your stuff and get active!  Join the FUN!

8:00 pm:  Why So Aggressive? (Canal Hall Conference Room) – Aggression and where it comes from.
