The Monroe Community College (MCC) Chapter of the American Association for Women in Community Colleges (AAWCC) is pleased to announce the success of their 2003 Thanksgiving Food Drive for Wilson Commencement Park. Twenty-six baskets of food were given to Wilson along with a check for $245 that was used towards the purchase of turkeys for their families. Each basket donated contained a full meal of canned and boxed food items. MCC Board of Trustee and Executive Director of Wilson Commencement Park, G. Jean Howard, was present to accept the check and baskets on Wilson's behalf. Thank you to all who helped make this wonderful event such a huge success! Your contributions were greatly appreciated!
