The Curriculum Office is pleased to announce the development of four new courses for delivery through the SUNY Learning Network for spring 2013. The following courses are:
GEG 100: Physical Geology – John Little
GEG 102: Human Geography – Michael Boester
GEG 252: Climate Change: Past, Present, and Future – Jason Szymanski
HIS 211: History of Sports in the United States – Eric Wheeler
SLN Course Proposal is used to convert an existing course to online via the Internet through the SUNY Learning Network, ANGEL platform. Faculty with basic computer skills and a willingness to adapt teaching to asynchronous environment and to participate in required training will be provided a stipend.
Hybrid Course Proposal is used to convert an existing course to online via the Internet through the SUNY Learning Network, ANGEL platform. The supplemented face-to-face instruction may not constitute more than 50% of instruction. Faculty with online teaching experience or with basic computer skills and a willingness to adapt teaching style to asynchronous environment will be provided training.
