Bethany Gizzi Creates and Facilitates Safe Zone and Implicit Bias Trainings

Bethany Gizzi serves as a facilitator of Implicit Bias trainings for New York State United Teachers (NYSUT) and the National Education Association (NEA).  On behalf of NEA, she recently facilitated the Implicit Bias trainings for K-12 teachers and school related professionals in the Monroe and Everett school districts in Washington state.

As a certified Safe Zone trainer, Bethany created a Safe Zone Train-the-Trainer program. She trained her first cohort of Safe Zone trainers, other educators from across NY state, for NYSUT on December 1 to 2.
