Darrell Jachim-Moore to Serve as Interim CFO and VP, Administrative Services

I am pleased to announce that Darrell Jachim-Moore, associate vice president of Administrative Services, has accepted my invitation to serve as interim chief financial officer and vice president of Administrative Services. His appointment begins July 1, 2021, following the retirement of CFO/VP Hezekiah Simmons on June 30, 2021.

Darrell, who joined MCC in 2009, brings with him years of experience leading the College’s budget office.  As AVP, he supports the College’s mission, vision, and strategic plan by providing departments with assistance in the preparation and construction of their individual annual budgets; monitoring and projecting revenue and operational expenses; and allocating resources and monitoring their uses through reviews of policies and procedures.  He was one of 15 SUNY professionals recently selected to participate in the 2021 NYS Student Success Center Coaching Academy.  Prior to MCC, Darrell served as vice president for finance/CFO and treasurer of the Colgate Rochester Crozer Divinity School and as the manager of financial reporting and analysis at Rochester Institute of Technology.
