MCC Food Pantry Gains Media Attention
Matthew Lawson, assistant director of orientation and First Year Experience in the Office of Student Life and Leadership Development, was interviewed about the campus food pantry by three local TV stations on March 17 and 18.
Their reports focused on the increased number of food banks on college campuses across the country as the costs of food and college education rise nationwide.
Two MCC students who also serve as peer mentors – Muhammad Ijaz and Rachel Peden – were also part of the interviews.
