Are you teaching on Zoom? Join a FIG!!

Calling all Zoom instructors:

If you would like some additional support and ideas for teaching your zoom class, please consider joining a faculty inquiry group to discuss best practices and transformative teaching in the Zoom remote modality.

A Faculty Inquiry Group (FIG) is a group of faculty members from different disciplines that come together with the goal of exploring a specific pedagogical issue. During the semester, members will meet regularly to discuss current research, develop new strategies and techniques, and work together to improve teaching. FIGs are faculty-driven, provide a supportive environment for exchanging ideas, and are open to adjunct and full-time faculty.

If you are or will be teaching or even meeting on Zoom, consider joining Best Practices and Transformative Teaching in the Zoom Remote Modality.  Meeting dates and times will be determined based on the members' availability. If you're interested in joining this FIG, please email Mark Ricci (mricci@monroecc.edu), Visual and Performing Arts.

If you would like to convene a FIG on a topic of your choice, email Terry Shamblin (tshamblin@monroecc.edu), ESOL/Transitional Studies.
