Tech Tip - Chat in Microsoft Teams

Chat in Teams is an easy way to get a short answer to a question quickly.

Once logged into Microsoft Teams:

  • Click on Chat in left-hand navigation
  • Click on a name of a person in your chat list *or* click on the new message icon and search for that person in the To field. 
  • Your cursor will drop into the box to type your message.
  • Hitting enter will send the message, or click on the arrow to the far right.
