Search Updates: Provost and VP and Chief of Staff/Assistant to the President

Many thanks to all those who carved out time to participate in a listening session with search consultants Amanda O'Donnell and Kira Heath from RPA, Inc.  In addition to hosting four (4) Zoom Listening Sessions open to all members of the College community, Ms. O'Donnell and Ms. Heath hosted Zoom Listening Sessions with MCC students, direct reports of the Provost and VP, and members of the Executive Leadership Team.  In addition, we thank all those who provided feedback via the anonymous electronic survey.  Our College community has demonstrated strong engagement and a commitment to ensuring a rigorous, inclusive, and successful search process.

The above ads are recruitment tools intended to serve as a window into the role and responsibilities as well as desired qualifications.  

We understand a strong interest exists within the College community to view the Provost and VP position description specifically, in addition to the recruitment ad.  A copy of the Provost and VP position description is attached below.

Next Steps

Over the course of the next several weeks, RPA, Inc. will continue to engage in nationwide recruitment for both positions.  Once the postings close, the search committees, led by their respective co-chairs and with consultation from RPA, Inc., will identify semi-finalists for each position.  Semi-finalist interviews will be held via Zoom with finalist interviews taking place in person, on campus, in December.  Information about opportunities to participate in the finalist interviews will be forthcoming.  The aim is to have both the Provost and VP position and the Chief of Staff/Assistant for Governmental Relations position filled in early 2023.
