This summer, Collegiate Science & Technology Entry Program (CSTEP) students put in a lot of hard work and dedication to complete a Power Lab course with flying colors. The course was taught by Christopher Kumar from the Engineering Science and Physics Department and students met every day from 10:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. for two weeks. During the first week, students used SolidWorks software to design a 3-D model then fabricated it in a 3-D printer. In the second week, they learned to use Matlab and Excel software to analyze and compute engineering problems. All students constructed a portfolio and a poster of their design project that was presented in the Flynn Campus Center on Friday, June 12th.
