For Students: Important information regarding the Financial Aid Freeze date

The Financial Aid Freeze date for the Spring 2023 semester is Wednesday, February 15, 2023.  Your anticipated financial aid award offers are calculated based on your FACE (Financial Aid Course Eligibility) enrolled hours eligible towards your current degree program.

If you anticipate receiving financial aid this Spring 2023 semester, please read the following:

  • You confirm that you are officially registered and attending all your classes.
  • The last “business” day to make changes to your schedule or change your major and have these actions count towards your current financial aid compliance is Wednesday, February 15th.   
  • Waitlisted courses do not count as registered courses for the term.
  • If you choose to add classes after the freeze date, know that these credits may not increase your financial aid offers for this semester. Email face@monroecc.edu if you add courses after the freeze date for further assistance.

Please view your class schedule and confirm that all registered courses show as FACE eligible. Sign into my.monroecc.edu, select Register Here, under the Registration Menu you will see a link for Registration Compliance Results. Here you will see the Federal and State financial aid eligibility of your registered courses.

For assistance with adding/dropping or withdrawing from courses, please contact your assigned advisor.
