If it hasn't already, breast cancer will touch you or someone you know. The
disease will strike nearly 200,000 times this year and claim more then 40,000
lives yearly...3,000 lives in New York and 1,400 in New Jersey.
Won't you join the American Association of Women in Community Colleges team at
the American Cancer Society's Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk on
October 20 (Binghamton & Princeton walks are on Oct. 6)? A noncompetitive walk
to raise awareness and money to fight breast cancer, Making Strides supports
cancer patients, survivors, their families and anyone affected by breast cancer.
Our team, is growing but the more people that help in this effort, the more we
can advance the lifesaving work of the American Cancer Society!
