Advocating for Transgender Health

The Student Nurses Association will be hosting Patrick Pitoni from the Transgender Center of Excellence at Trillium Health in a discussion about how we can all become a "great health advocate" for the transgender community. The talk will take place Thursday, November 3rd at  3:00 pm in Room 8-200.

It is advantageous to all health professionals to know more about the ways that we can provide better care for the transgender community.

From the flyer: Are you studying to be a nurse, surgical tech, or dental tech? Or maybe you're interested in learning more on the topic for yourself or a family friend? In any case, we invite you to join us to learn how you can become a great health advocate for the transgender community!

The Student Nurses will be collaborating with Pride Alliance to enhance our care and understanding for transgender individuals.
