On May 31 two teams from the Women's United Soccer Association (WUSA) professional league, will play an exhibition game at 1 P.M. on MCC's Brighton Campus. The New York Power and the Washington Freedom will compete in what promises to be an exciting game. Both teams feature high-profile players like Mia Hamm, Tiffany Millbret, and Rochester's own Casey Zimney and Abby Wambach.
WUSA tickets can be purchased at any Wegman's video department. Tickets are also being sold on Thursday, April 24th and on Friday, May 2nd from 10 A.M. until 2 P.M. on the second floor of building 1 on the Brighton Campus. The cost is $19 per ticket. Partial proceeds for this event will go to support the MCC soccer program.
