Virtual Friday Sessions for Spring 2020
The Virtual Campus is hosting several virtual webinars and face-to-face learning opportunities this semester! Sessions begin this week.
Interested in learning about online learning, a new technology, or resource? Join us virtually through the Zoom link on the day and time of the session. These 30 minute sessions are designed to be a quick overview of a topic. We will leave time at the end of the session for questions.
- March 6, 12-12:30 pm: MCC's Blackboard Training Process (Options for Self-Paced Training)
- March 13, 12-12:30 pm: Interested in Teaching Online?
- March 27, 12-12:30 pm: Using the OSCQR Rubric for Online Course Assessment
- April 3, 12-12:30 pm: Accessibility Tips for Your Online Course
- April 17, 12-12:30 pm: Basics for Creating Videos for Teaching and Learning
- May 8, 12-12:30 pm: Designing Online Tests from Existing Tests and Pools
- May 15, 12-12:30 pm: Teaching with the Library
Learn from your colleagues! Do you want to learn how others are using technology in their courses? Professor Showcases are held in person in the Virtual Campus Training Center on the Brighton Campus in Building 3, Room 122 within the Virtual Campus suite (3-150) on the designated date and time. We will also record these sessions and host through Zoom so they can be made available later.
