Get ready for an exciting Spring 2024 semester at MCC Libraries! We're delighted to unveil a workshop series designed to support first-year students on their research journeys.

Content: Students will explore skills like "Choosing and Refining a Topic," "Effective Search Strategies," "Evaluating Online Sources," and "Giving Credit to Sources." These workshops will seamlessly integrate video tutorials from MCC Libraries’ national award-winning College Researcher Badging Program.

Expert Guidance: Led by knowledgeable librarians versed in the Association for College and Research Libraries’ Framework for Information Literacy in Higher Education, our workshops adhere to nationally recognized standards. This ensures a consistent and high-quality learning experience, comparable to peers at other colleges and universities.

Flexibility: Students can attend as standalone sessions or seamlessly integrate them into your classroom—available for in-class sessions upon request.
