Get In-Person Tax Help and File For Free

New York State Tax Department employees will be on campus to walk you through your income tax returns and assist you to file them for free.  It's quick and easy and open to all who qualify.

To qualify you would have earned $79,000 or less in 2023.

In partnership with Monroe Community College, sessions will be available on Mondays from 9:30 am to 4:30 pm.  You must pre-register and schedule an appointment with the New York State Tax Department.

Representatives will be available the following dates and locations:

Brighton Campus- Room 11-101

  • February 5th
  • February 26th
  • March 11th
  • April 8th

Downtown Campus- Room 300

  • February 12th
  • March 4th
  • March 25th
  • April 15th
