Mathematics Department Scholarships
The Math department would like to call faculty and staff attention to a number of scholarships that we offer to students.
Robert A. Fratangelo Memorial Scholarship
Stuart R. Porter & Joyce R. Porter Endowed Scholarship
Jan Z. Wiranowski Endowed Renaissance Scholarships (one for Math-related and one for Non-Traditional)
Jan Z. Wiranowski Endowed Humanism of Hope Scholarship
Beyond the Formula Endowed Scholarship - Statistics
Beyond the Formula Endowed Scholarship - Math
Beyond he Formula Endowed Scholarship - Elementary Education or Business
While most scholarships (the main exceptions being the Humanism of Hope and Renaissance Non-Traditional Scholarships) have math requirements, the requirements vary based on the scholarship. Also, most scholarships include the requirement of recommendations and a personal statement from the student, so the application process may take some thought (and time).
This year is going to be challenging since many of our classes are now classified as Online or Remote, so there is less opportunity for face-to-face interaction and encouragement of students to apply for scholarships. We are hoping that you can take some time to identify students in your classes who might qualify for these scholarships and encourage them to apply.
For more information, please encourage your students to look at the Math Department website under the A-Z Index or by following this link;

Applications for scholarships close at 11:59PM on Monday, March 15, 2021.
Thank you for your consideration of this!
