Former MCC students and Biology faculty present paper at JMIH
Former MCC chemistry student Annie Stevens and former MCC biology student Kristen Fellows presented a paper entitled Dermal Bacteria of Ambystoma maculatum and Ambystoma jeffersonianum at the Joint Meeting of Ichthyologists and Herpetologists (JMIH) conference on July 12, 2018. Their faculty mentors were Professor Suzanne Long (Biology), Associate Professor Richard Stevens (Biology), and Professor Timothy Tatakis (Biology). This conference is the international conference of the three largest professional herpetology societies on Earth and was held in Rochester, NY this year. Annie Stevens is currently a senior majoring in Chemistry at SUNY ESF. Kristen Fellows is pursuing her M.S. in Biology at University of Delaware.
