SEGA and the Wellness Center at the Damon City Campus present the film TAPPED as part of our Earth Day celebration. Please join us on Thursday, April 29th at 2:00 pm in Room 4151 to learn more about our nation’s bottle water industry. This timely documentary is a behind-the-scenes look into the unregulated and unseen world of an industry that aims to privatize and sell back our water. From plastic production to the ocean in which so many of these bottles end up, this inspiring documentary trails the path of the bottled water industry and the communities which have been negatively impacted.
Discussion following the film will be facilitated by Professor Stevens, of the Biology Department and Professor Syzmanski, of the Chemistry and Geoscience Department.
The first 20 students in attendance will receive a reusable MCC water bottle.
