Instructions for Entering Grades in myMCC
Final grades are due in Banner by December 28th.
To alleviate any confusion: Brightspace versus Banner.
- There currently isn’t a way to feed grades from Brightspace to Banner.
- It’s encouraged that faculty spend some time checking the accuracy of grades in Brightspace before entering them in Banner.
Where to enter grades in Banner:
- Go to myMCC (mymcc.monroecc.edu) and select the Employee profile.
- Login using your MCC email address and your account password.
- Select the Banner tile.
- Select the B8 (Banner) Self Service Tile.
- Select the Faculty Services tab.
- Select Attendance, Withdrawal & Final Grades.
Question: What are the common errors made when entering grades?
Answer:
- Omitting the last date of attendance for grades of F
- Trying to enter a grade of W
- Forgetting to save your work
It’s worth the extra time, after saving your work, to exit and to go back in to check to see that the grades were submitted. If the grades aren’t submitted due to an error or not saving, you will end up on an error report. Then you’ll be asked to try again by Registration and Records. The process will then need to be repeated, which is time consuming and frustrating.
Please enter your grades before the deadline!
