Last Call for Special Faculty/Staff Rate for Salute to Excellence

Each November the Monroe Community College Foundation celebrates the impact of philanthropic investment at MCC and the brilliance, creativity and dedication of exceptional alumni making a difference in the community.  This year we are also celebrating the 60th anniversary of MCC opening its doors!

On Thursday, November 10, we’ll gather at the Joseph A. Floreano Rochester Riverside Convention Center with Honorary Chairs Presidents Emeriti Dr. Peter A. Spina and R. Thomas Flynn, where for the seventh time in the event's thirty-one-year history, we will present the Salute to Volunteerism. This year the Salute to Volunteerism will be presented to Dr. Alice Holloway Young in recognition of her inspiring philanthropy and service to MCC. 

The Salute to Excellence will be presented to the ESL Charitable Foundation for their extraordinary support of Scholars’ Day, Pathway to MCC, the Finish Strong Scholarship, the Be A Healthy Hero Summer Camp as well as the ESL Charitable Foundation’s role in launching MCC’s accelerated workforce development training programs. 

In keeping with tradition, we will induct four outstanding alumni into the MCC Alumni Hall of Fame, including; Myra P. Henry, Ed.D. ’09, Douglas E. Parker ’92, Joseph L. Searles, Jr. ’89 and Erin L. Waller ’98.
