It’s that time of year….
Many of us filled out an NCAA basketball bracket based on our gut feelings, seed rankings, and/or loyalty.
And now….well, Northern Iowa (who?) beat Kansas (what?) and many of us have given up on winning any type of prize this year.
It’s Not Too Late!
Come over to Building 10 and enter to win “March Veggie Madness”. In support of the Eat Well, Live Well campaign, the Health and Physical Education Department presents a bracket-style contest pitting one vegetable against another. In each of the four rounds a different nutrient will be featured. Whichever vegetable in the pairing contains more of that nutrient will move on to the next round. Which is the most nutritious vegetable in the growers bunch?? Come on over and take your best guess!!
Brackets are available right outside the HPL (Human Performance Lab), room 10-145. Contest rules and regulations are printed on the back side of the bracket. Brackets are due by Noon on Friday, April 2, 2010. Brackets can be turned in outside of office 10-119 or at the locker room key exchange across from the HPL. The contest will start on Monday, April 5, 2010 and the “Vegetable Grand Champion” will be crowned on Thursday, April 8, 2010! All winners (those who correctly score the entire bracket) will be posted outside the HPL and one student winner will win a Wegmans gift card.
