Diversity Council Strategic Direction 3: Responding to Community, Workforce Needs and Enrollment

The charge for this strategic direction sub-committee is to propose activities, programs and events that leverage the capabilities of the college to increase enrollment within targeted populations (including minorities, dislocated workers and single parents) that closes the gap between the community’s needs and these population resources.

Would you like to help us explore and learn more about diversity and inclusiveness? If the answer is yes, then the Diversity Council invites you to volunteer your time, energy, and experience to work with other colleagues in support of responding to community, workforce needs, and enrollment on issues surrounding diversity and inclusiveness.

Together, we will endeavor to encourage and educate, listen and engage, plan and implement, and promote and celebrate our goal to become a mindful and inclusive community.

To volunteer, email <mailto:eotero@monroecc.edu> or call ext.1610; <mailto:hsimmons@monroecc.edu> or call ext. 3320; <mailto:jwinston@monroecc.edu> or call ext. 1401 before the Diversity Council Strategic Committee’s Kickoff on March 30th at College Hour in the Forum at the Brighton Campus.

We look forward to hearing from you soon!
