On Saturday, April 19, Krista Rodriguez (Dental Hygiene) was one of three presenters at the New York State Dental Assisting Association (NYDAA) Annual Session held in Syracuse, New York. Participants were educated in legislative changes to the NYS certified dental assisting and dental hygiene expanded functions laws, and regulations governing those laws were explained. Krista, along with the co-presenters, addressed how these functions will/can impact productivity in a dental office and the practicality of utilizing a restorative functions auxiliary.
Also, Krista was elected President of NYDAA and will serve this next year for the organization.
Congratulations Krista on a job well done!
