Excited for the Total Solar Eclipse?

On April 8th, 2024, Rochester, NY will fall beneath the Moon’s shadow during a total solar eclipse.  Astronomy Professor Jason Szymanski (Chemistry and Geosciences) will present what to expect for the upcoming eclipse and how to prepare. A brief overview of why this eclipse is so unique will be discussed (followed by questions and answers). This talk will be presented on Wednesday, 3/20 at noon and repeated on Wednesday, 3/27 at noon in the Empire Room. Attend either session, or both! Join in-person or join via Zoom.

Each guest will receive their own pair of solar eclipse glasses!
