Campus Climate Survey Report

A report summarizing the results of the recent Viewfinder Campus Climate Survey, administered during the Spring of 2023, is now available at MCC Internal Resources | Institutional Research | Monroe Community College (monroecc.edu). This link will bring you to an Employee Only Area.  Once you click the box, the Employee Campus Climate Survey will be at the bottom of the page under Surveys. This survey was sent to 1,281 employees, with 283 responding, creating a response rate of 22.1%. This response rate enabled us to generalize the responses to all MCC employees.

Only summary information is contained within this report, as individual responses, otherwise known as "raw" data, are not provided to ensure we protect the anonymity of those who shared worded responses. Additionally, questions with fewer than five (5) responses have been removed to protect the anonymity of the respondent(s).

Presentations regarding the survey results will be conducted with the Dean’s and Chair’s committee, the Faculty Senate, the Executive Leadership Team, the Student Government Association, and the Board of Trustees in the coming weeks.

In addition, there is also a link to the student campus climate survey. This survey had a response rate below 10% and cannot be used for decision-making purposes. Due to the low response rate, these survey results do not represent the student population. This protocol follows our established Institutional Research survey protocols. Additional methods for garnering student input will be employed to help in this process, including student course evaluations, focus groups, and other student data.
