A Critical Friends Group helps you reflect critically about your teaching among friends.
We will be offering three CFGs for the 2015-16 academic year.
Please contact the facilitators (by September 22) to specify the group you would like to join:

CFGs are “trans-formational learning communities fiercely committed to educational equity and excellence.” (School Reform Initiative mission statement)
Critical Friends Groups are a nationwide professional development model established to improve student learning and success by supporting educators reflecting on and improving their practices.
CFG’s are led by a trained facilitator and use structured protocols to look at:
* curriculum
* teaching dilemmas
* student work
* peer observations
* pivotal moments
so that participants can provide each other with specific and actionable feedback.
