Coral reefs, trumpetfish, hammerhead sharks and more! Join Professor Mellas on a photographic journey as he describes his experiences at the Gerace Research Center on San Salvador Island, the Bahamas.
Professor Mellas spent two weeks on San Salvador Island January 2006 as a guest professor assisting in the teaching of a Tropical Marine Biology course. He will be discussing the five marine habitats studied on the island and present information on his proposed new MCC special studies course: Marine Biology, Bahamas (BIO 182). MCC faculty, staff and students are invited for this presentation of tropical marine biology, SCUBA diving, photographs and more.
