2023-2024 Strategic Planning Initiatives

Do you have an idea that supports the College's Strategic Plan and could use some financial assistance to get your project off the ground? The Faculty Senate Planning Committee is now calling for applications for Strategic Planning Initiatives. A pool of $15,000 funded through the President's Office to support these initiatives is available for the 2024-2025 budget year. The application process is available online and administered by the Faculty Senate Planning Committee.

We are requesting that interested applicants fill out and submit an "Intent to Apply" form. (Note: You need to be logged in through myMCC). The link can also be accessed through the information provided under the "Strategic Planning Initiative Materials" area of the Faculty Senate Brightspace page, or by clicking through the "Employee Home" tile within myMCC (under "Online Forms", "Faculty Senate Strategic Planning"). The deadline to submit the "Intent to Apply" form is Friday, December 1, 2023. The final application is due Friday, March 8, 2024.

Faculty Senate Planning will be hosting information sessions that are tentatively scheduled for noon Monday, October 30, 2023, on the Brighton Campus and noon Tuesday, November 14, 2023, on the Downtown Campus. Building/room numbers will be announced when locations are finalized. The committee is looking forward to assisting with any ideas you might have in formulating a project that supports the College's 2022-2027 Strategic Plan.
